What We Do
We know that as an animal shelter, you more than have your hands full. Your main focus needs to be taking care of the pets and getting them adopted into loving, caring, forever homes.
Help Save a Stray is an organization that is dedicated to helping animal shelters across the country, offering: Winston’s Words (newsletter), website listing, fundraising, graphic design, event organization, marketing, and social media support. Have a better idea of how we can specifically help you? All you have to do is ask. Contact us today to get started.

Inspiration
The inspiration comes in a 70 pound package packed full of love and energy named Winston. Winston was adopted in February 2007 from a rescue organization called "Best Friends". He originally was rescued in Lebanon where his shelter was bombed. He was then shipped to France, Utah, then Arizona where he was finally adopted at the age of 2.
He is growing and learning every day. He loves to lay on the couch and watch TV, carry his bunny around the house like it's his baby, and take long walks when it's cool outside. He is such a joy!

About the Founder
My name is Jennifer! I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Educational Psychology and Mass Communication. Now what on earth was I supposed to do with that? I was determined to find something I could do to tie in my degree and my passion and love for animals along with my creative flair! So, I founded helpsaveastray.com!
It is my goal, through this website, to help inform others. I hope to provide support to animal shelters across the United States so that they can focus on the pets in their care. No animal deserves to be without a loving, caring, forever home. Help me through this journey of education and promotion. I'm convinced that if we all work together we can and will make a change!
